At Eames, we are eager to for you to begin enjoying the items you have purchased as soon as possible after order and payment. We will begin processing your order immediately and determine production times for bespoke and made to order items. Given the special nature of most items, there will generally be a period of some 4-6 weeks between order placement and delivery. Items that are in stock and small consumables will be with you much sooner.
In most circumstances the email confirming your Order will display your chosen method of delivery and the estimated production time for the Goods that have been ordered. Please note that if the Goods are not in stock, the production time of Goods is in addition to delivery time.
Standard delivery offers delivery of the Goods to the door of the delivery address you provide to us when you place your Order (if the destination is an apartment, flat or complex, the Goods will be delivered inside the entrance to the building where possible). Note that we require contact details so that the delivery company can contact you in the case of wrong address, no access etc.
Our Irish delivery partners for standard courier delivery are DPD and TNT and you can rest assured that your delivery is traceable at every stage.
Standard delivery does not include assembly or unpacking.
International shipping details
All outside Ireland, Europe and Worldwide destinations will take longer.
The estimated production times are stated on our website or available from our customer services team and are in addition to any delivery time estimate provided. Please do contact us before placing your order if you have a particular time schedule to adhere to.
International deliveries do not include customs & clearance fees, duties & taxes, road tax or quarantine and fumigation fees which are payable by the customer before their delivery. Failure to make payment will result in delays of which Eames Lighting Ltd cannot be held responsible and finally the return of the Goods and further accumulated costs. The responsibility lies with the customer for checking their country’s own policies and rulings with regards to the importation of goods. Eames Lighting will not be held responsible for any costs accrued from the release of goods from any customs office. Preparation of export documentation can sometimes cause delays (approximately 5-10 working days) whilst goods are awaiting dispatch from the Eames Lighting warehouse, we do our very best to keep delays to a minimum. Please note: all our international orders are shipped according to the Incoterms® 2010 standards.
International deliveries are curb-side only and the delivery company will require assistance unloading larger items. Standard delivery does not apply to larger Trade orders. Contact us for shipping quotation before ordering..
If your Order is for multiple items, we will send these out to you in one delivery as soon as they all arrive at the Eames Lighting warehouse and they have been checked.
Delivery Address
If you need to change the delivery address or time for delivery, please contact us as soon as possible as changes made after the goods have been dispatched may incur an additional delivery charge up to the full amount originally paid for delivery.
Failure to deliver
Eames Lighting cannot accept responsibility for Goods that are undeliverable for reasons that are not within our reasonable control (including unsatisfactory access or customer's absence at an agreed delivery time). In these cases - Costs of redelivery and storage will be incurred by the customer.
Ownership is transferred from Eames to the customer on delivery and acceptance of goods.
Please note: once the Goods have been delivered to you, the risk of the Goods passes over to you the owner and you will be liable for any consequent damage or loss to the Goods.
